US/ STOP BU$H/

Golden opportunities to register your discontent at both Bush and Blair's handling of... well erm... pretty much everything like this one are pretty few and far between, so take a sicky and get down to London for the day.

This protest could have a genuine negative effect on Bush's chances of re-election, giving a nice media friendly snippet for CNN, Fox (if old Rupster allows footage to be shown) et al of how the "Brits" feel about the Iraq issue, hopefully bolstering slowly changing opinions in the US. We'll have photos and a report etc soon.

Here are the details from Stop the War Coalition but these may change so watch www.stopwar.org.uk for changes.

UK National Demonstration, Thursday 20th November

Assemble 2pm at Malet Street, Central London (nearest tubes: Goodge Street, Russell Square and Euston/Euston Sq). March to Trafalgar Square where a statue of George Bush will be pulled down. This event will continue until 7pm to allow for people coming from work.

If there is only one STOP BU$H event that you can make - this is the one.
