If like myself you are one of the few car-less people left in Bristol then you'll know how difficult it is to get out of the City to the sprawling Multiplexes to watch a film; soon your choice is going to be limited further as the ABC on Whiteladies road is the next local film venue to face the axe.

The oldest purpose built cinema in Bristol the ABCs molded concrete art deco style is pretty individual, giving it grade 2 listed building status. Money grabbing developers want to turn it into crappy apartments or some kind of gym - not the best use for the building.
